Walt Disney World Tours That You Shouldn’t Miss For The World
Are the rides and the many shows at Walt Disney World becoming too intense for you? Consider taking a tour behind the scenes for a change of pace. Or maybe you want to amp it up with something really adventurous like a swim with dolphins. Tours are indeed a great way to broaden your perspective and see more of Disney’s treasures, regardless if it’s your first trip, or tenth.
What do the safari animals do when they’re not showing off for you? Do the actors always dress up like princesses, or do they put on their costumes and make-up somewhere? You can even learn about Walt Disney’s original vision that started it all. At Epcot, you can explore the Land pavilion and its agricultural splendor, or even find out how the steam trains that go around Disney work. And of course, don’t miss taking a tour of the holiday lights, if you’re planning a Disney visit over the holiday season!
At Epcot, You Can Go Around the World
For $99 bucks, on top of Epcot admission, guests 16 years of age & up “test drive” the Segway Personal Transporter through the World Showcase. Say goodbye to your teen, especially if he’s not legal to drive on the streets, yet.
How Agriculture Works
Do you know that freshwater fish can be farmed? Or have you ever tasted freshly picked produce? The agricultural paradise at the Land Pavilion is educational, inexpensive and fun for the whole family for sixteen dollars, or twelve for kids under ten, on top of Epcot admission.
Dolphins in Depth at Disney
These large, playful creatures will put a smile on your face that you’ll still be wearing when you get back home to tell your friends about it. This is only at the Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction. For anyone at least 13, but kids must be joined by an adult. 3 hours.
Seas Aqua Tour at Epcot
You can SCUBA dive to see sea animals without having to be certified. Certified instructors will assist you and kids eight and up [under twelve with parents] for an unforgettable marine experience.
Epcot DiveQuest
Certification is required for this full on SCUBA experience for ages ten and older. Again, parental guidance is required for kids under 10.
Backstage Safari
Did you know that the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando has an animal hospital and a nutrition center just for the care of their animals? This is a great tour that allows animal lovers to know what goes on behind the scenes.
Wild by Design
Learn about the interplay between nature, art, and architecture in the design of the park. You will also learn how the animal habitats were recreated, as well as how well Disney takes care of its animals.
These are but a few of the tours you can join, mind you. If you need more details, your authorized Walt Disney World agent can tell you more. But if you did all of them, you’d never get to enjoy the other reasons you came to Disney. Mickey awaits you!
